How long will it take for my goods to be delivered?

    • Approximately 4 – 5 weeks from the date they are collected.

    Do we have to pay customs duty?

    • Only if you exceed your quota of permitted goods.

    Will we have to pay any more money?

    • Storage may be payable if you are not available to authorize the collection of your goods within the allotted time.

    Do we need a “Bill of Lading”?

    • No, but we will supply you with a copy, to inform you of all the relevant details.

    Will the container be delivered to my house?

    • Yes, providing there is access. There will be a charge if we cannot get close enough to unload your goods from the container.

    • No, you need to call us upon your arrival in JamaicWe will then inform you of the next step to take.

    Who can open my container?

    • Only customs have the authority to open containers.

    Can container be opened without us being there?

    • Yes, but only with your authority

    Can we ship any more goods (duty-free)?

    • Yes, but it must be within 6 months, and cannot be a repeat of what you have shipped already.

    Is insurance included ?

    • No, the normal rate for comprehensive insurance is 5% of the total value of your goods.

    Do we have to load our goods ourselves?

    • No we supply our own work force to load your goods.
